GOVID GUIDELINES

As the COVID-19 situation continues to be one that is constantly changing, we will continue to assess the evolving public health guidance regarding gatherings and adapt accordingly. We encourage every individual to make informed decisions about attending our events in the best interest of their own health as well as the health of others. We will continue to update these policies and protocols as needed, so be sure to check this page often for the most up-to-date information.

MASKS (PLEASE READ)

The Queen Studios team are aware that masks are a contentious issue. For that reason, you will not be required to wear a mask, but are encouraged to do so if this is something you feel more comfortable doing.

TESTINGS (PLEASE READ)

No matter how mild the symptoms, Covid-19 is still a cause for concern that could affect all attendees in some way. If you do contract Covid-19 over the event weekend, it could cause some issues with travel and work later on. Therefore, the Queen Studios team recommend that all attendees check travel policies and choose flexible booking options.

None of us want any attendees to miss any of the event. For the QS team, it means a lot that you have taken the time and money to come and see us and our collectibles. However, we must also act within the best interests of the group at large and all of those in attendance.

TESTING AND RECOMMENDATIONS

We recommend that all attendees test for Covid-19 prior to travelling to the event, either at a test centre, or a rapid test kit bought from a pharmacy. This is optional for attendees, but we would highly recommend this course of action.

EVENT TESTING

In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all attendees, and to allow a non-mask policy, Queen Studios will conduct on-site testing prior to the start of the event. At the moment, these tests have not been confirmed with the event organiser Art Houz, but are likely to take place.

The testing is likely to be a rapid testing kit which would show a result within 15 minutes, and would be individually taken by attendees. A negative result must be presented before entry is permitted, and only one test kit will be issued per person and will be collected and disposed of.

The testing is free of charge for all attendees.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID?

If you test positive for Covid-19, the team will provide a second test. If the second test shows a positive result, you will not be permitted entry for the first 90 minutes of the event. Instead, you will be politely asked to wait outside, or return to your hotel.

After 90 minutes, you will be allowed entry during the presentation section of the event. During this time, you will be provided an N95 mask and will be asked not to touch any of the collectibles on display. During the remaining 90 minutes, you can take photos of the collectibles and see them up close.

You will still receive your gift bag, and you will also receive a copy of the presentation that you missed.
